Just finished Chinese New Year with the family. I'm not Chinese but the wife is half, so her mum is full.

Anyway, all the news around the region is saying no-ones eating chickens or ducks because of the bird flu. We had a great big feast with roast chicken and duck, and we went to a farm to dine. We are all still here, I think international news outlets focus on this (flu) because the US Govt want them to look away from the mess they've made of Iraq. And democracy just exploded in thier faces in Palastine. Best we scare the peasants with tales of woe about dangerous foods and Killer pandemics
